The creative and crazy frequency shifter, PSP "HertzRider 2" is now 70% off and $19, the lowest price ever by far.
PSP HertzRider2 is the successor to the original PSPHertzRider frequency shifter. This update benefits from algorithm optimization and adds a number of important new features; PSP HertzRider 2 is designed to be as simple as possible, use the fewest resources possible, and generate only negligible (and frequency-dependent) latency! PSP HertzRider2 is a great tool for tuning non-harmonic sounds like snares, and when used on harmonic sounds, it can be a creative and crazy sound destroying tool. In addition to a wide range of shifting settings, the algorithm includes an LFO, providing interesting modulation options to further experiment and get creative.
What is a "fricity shifter?"
The so-called "pitch shifters" we have used in the past shift the entire content with/without a scale. In contrast, a flecency shifter shifts the content at a specific frequency. For example, with a pitch shifter, if you raise the octave on the fundamental frequency of a 440 Hz signal, its frequency becomes 880 Hz, on the second harmonic 880 Hz becomes 1760 Hz, and on the third harmonic 1320 Hz becomes 2640 Hz. In contrast, with the frequency shifter, shifting 440 Hz by 440 Hz results in 880 Hz, which is the same as a pitch shift, but the second overtone of 880 Hz becomes 1320 Hz, which is not a so-called shift up an octave. Applying HeartzRider2 to an unscaled note such as a snare makes it sound incredibly like it is in tune, while applying it to a scaled note makes it a creative and insane sound-destroying tool. tool. In addition to a wide range of shift settings, the algorithm includes a low-frequency oscillator (LFO), providing some very interesting modulation options for even more creative use of the HeartzRider.
