The library contains over 2000 samples of Middle Eastern percussive beats and grooves. The interface includes a number of amazing features and functions that give users the ability to manipulate loops to create, place, and configure their own very individual grooves.Sahara Beats includes over 100 convolution reverbs, delays, chorus, phasers, and It also comes with a complete FX rack with flangers, distortions, overdrives, and amp simulators that allow users to further modify the sound of the loop they are working on.
Sahara Beats allows the user to replace, adjust, invert, stretch, pan, and randomize individual slices within a loop. The volume and attack of each slice can also be edited. Loops are synchronized to the host tempo, and the stretch function can be used to further improve synchronization. The sequence of slices forming a loop can be dragged to the DAW as a MIDI file. The loop function can also be disabled to play back individual slices as single hits, allowing the user to create their own percussive beats. Loops can be adjusted as a whole using the Adjustment keyswitch or adjustments can be applied to individual slices using the Adjustments tab. Styles and variations can be changed with the keyswitches. The "Feel" menu provides five additional "feels" to the original loop, along with a speed menu that allows half/double speed playback. An autosave preset system saves all user edits in the interface for all variations and all styles. The user can use the Reset button to reset edits for selected variations. The user can also reset the entire instrument to defaults using the Default button.
