SCHEMA: DARK is built around an innovative 16-step sequencer that creates unique rhythmic patterns, starting with four loops that are tempo-synced two bars at a time, switching up to 16 steps in each layer. Then use the modulation wheel to vary the density of the pattern. You should be immediately satisfied with the results, but you can explore more sonic variety with polyrhythmic tricks, unstable ambience, and powerful walls of sound.

SCHEMA DARK's 1700 distinctive loops feature carefully selected field recordings, modular synth sequences, and orchestral sounds recorded at the prestigious Sofia Session Studio, all combined with dark tonality and project tempo. MIDI keyboards allow you to play drones, basses, synths, and orchestral sounds on key, while dedicated tuning knobs allow you to pitch the drums and SFX to your liking.

Each loop comes in four sound-designed flavors. Version A is the original sound, processed with high-end outboard equipment. Versions B, C, and D are shaded with a custom-made processing chain of expensive pedal distortions, complex modular patches, and rare rack-mounted compressors.

SCHEMA: DARK comes with 343 professionally designed presets that you can start using right away. Each preset consists of four loops, each with switchable patterns, playback modes (including reverse), envelopes, effects, and more. In addition, filter, decay, volume, and pitch are all step-by-step editable, pattern lengths can be individually set for polyrhythmic fun, and six studio effects can be assigned to two send slots.
