[Free distribution for a limited time] SpaceBlender (usually $99) is an innovative reverb plug-in that brings depth and dimension to any audio by creating nonlinear spaces and imaginary acoustic spaces with shapes that are impossible in the real world. It is  for free for a limited time. I immediately checked the operation, and it is a plug-in that allows you to precisely sound design ambience, so you can intuitively set it in detail, so it can be used not only for bold creations but also as a normal reverb, making it a versatile new product that creative people will be very happy with.

It is a plug-in that can process reverb tails that normal algorithmic reverbs do not have (it is also good that it can be used as a normal reverb). Reverb usually decays, but you can invert it and apply a reverse effect at any timing like a crescendo diminuendo.

SpaceBlender is a gateway to a new dimension of space and time effects. It is an experimental reverb that allows you to create unrealistic and imaginary spaces with shapes, textures, and tones that are impossible in the real world.

Inspired by the pioneers of ambient music, who used layered tape loops and delays, SpaceBlender is designed to create huge waves of rich, organic, evolving spatial effects.

SpaceBlender
This is not normal

With SpaceBlender, you can easily create incredibly long (or short) nonlinear spaces and rich, varied textures, transforming simple sounds into dramatic cinematic swells. The unique algorithmic architecture allows you to freely change the shape, density and spectrum in unnatural and inventive ways.

SpaceBlender
The Time knob sets the length of the reverb from 100ms to 1 minute. In Sync mode, it syncs to the track's tempo. Perfect for ambient loops, frozen tails, gated effects and more.

Turn down the Color control for a darker, lo-fi effect, or turn it up to make the reverb brighter over time, something that's not possible with traditional reverbs. The Texture control shapes the personality of SpaceBlender's reverb, from smooth, rich reverb at the higher frequencies to sparse, heavy repeats at the lower frequencies.

Mod controls the random movement deep inside SpaceBlender's processing layers. Turn it off for a more static sound, turn it up for a more modulation, smooth, rich, watery effect. Turn on Freeze and SpaceBlender's output will feed back into itself, creating an evolving, organically decaying ambient loop.

Play Space

SpaceBlender's visualizer shows you the shape, texture and interaction of your effect with your sound. It's especially useful for effects with longer time settings or shapes with a slow attack. You can visually see and predict the effect's changes. To manipulate the reverb envelope, drag the X/Y cursors on the screen and the effect will change as you play. It's a fun and intuitive way to adjust the timing and shape of your effect in real time.

Back to Earth

SpaceBlender is not just for cinematic sound design and avant-garde experimentation. It is also great for everyday music and audio production, adding depth and dimension to any material, whether it be vocals, guitars, or synthesizers.

SpaceBlender
Algorithmic Innovation

SpaceBlender blends experimental sound design, advanced algorithmic techniques, and the specific characteristics of traditional digital reverb.

The DSP algorithms and patches for the original Black Hole effect on the Eventide DSP4000 were developed by our founder Ken Bogdanowicz and sound designer Andrew Schlesinger, respectively. They have decades of experience designing and tweaking effect and reverb algorithms.

SpaceBlender is also inspired by the gritty retro-futuristic atmosphere of the Ursa Major space station, the dark, rich timbre of the classic Lexicon 224, and the dense choral swarms of the lesser known and rare Swarmatron synthesizer.

Highlights
Interactive Controls – Morph gate, reverse, decay and bloom reverb shapes in real time

Visualizer – Watch your sound flow through the reverb shape as you shape the reverb envelope.
