HX-ODDY is UVI's modern reimagining of the legendary analog synth, originally released in 1972. HX-ODDY offers an incredible range of sounds, encompassing both new and factory patches created using the original MkI hardware. Its power comes from UVI's latest design, a powerful hybrid architecture featuring three hardware-based wavetables and sample oscillators, plus rich modeling filters. From inspiring basses and leads to spacious pads and wild effects, HX-ODDY delivers authentic hardware sounds in a powerful, modern sound design environment.
Leveraging UVI's deep sampling and physical modeling expertise, HX-ODDY offers an exciting new way to explore a wide range of authentic hardware sounds. New hardware sample-based wavetable oscillators offer expanded timbre customization and design possibilities. Combined with lovingly designed sample-based oscillators that offer a more detailed and faithful representation of the hardware sound, these physically modeled filters create powerful sounds.
HX-ODDY comes with a rich preset library of over 250 sounds, including sequences, arpeggios, basses, leads, keys, pads, brass, plucks & bells, effects & rhythmics, and patchbooks. These sounds are assembled from a library of over 13,000 hardware samples, 183 layers, and 485 wavetables, and are brought to life with authentic analog soul.
HX-ODDY also features modeled filters, a powerful modulation system, creative arpeggiator/phrase functions, macros, and studio effects. And with its rich multi-layer architecture and extensive features, it gives you everything you need to edit existing presets to fit your vision or create your own sounds from scratch.
Available until September 22nd.
