Scaler Music has released "Scaler Detector" (list price $9.00), a powerful audio analysis tool with MIDI chord export that instantly detects the key, scale, and chords of any track in real time! Scaler 3 users can also get it for free. It appears to have already been added to their Scaler Music account.
Note: Scaler Detector is included with all existing and new Scaler 3 purchases. Scaler 3 owners can download Scaler Detector for free by logging in to their Scaler Music account and accessing it from the "My Products" tab.
Once detected, you can import the detected chord progression into your DAW by dragging and dropping the chord blocks, just like in Scaler 3.
This standalone and VST/AU/AAX compatible plug-in tells you the key of the song you're playing. You can check the key of an entire song, individual polyphonic audio tracks, or a MIDI stream.
