The SSL Guitarstrip is a new processor for electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. Offering four carefully tuned guitar processing modules, the Guitarstrip is packed with handy tools for creating the perfect guitar tone at both the pre-mix and mixing stages.
With two classic analog drive emulations of guitar and bass amps, the Guitarstrip's DRIVE module makes it easy to add overdrive and grit to your guitar and bass DI, reduce harshness, or inject excitement into acoustic guitar recordings. Add harmonics using the BOOST, PUNCH, EDGE, and SHAPE controls, and adjust from trash distortion to subtle saturation with the DRIVE MIX control.
Guitarstrip also features a dedicated COMPRESSOR section with five preset response characteristics, allowing you to quickly adjust levels or add punch to your guitar tracks. Use the intuitive PHASE CORRECTION module to identify phase issues between multiple recordings and correct them using the DELAY, PHASE INVERT, and ALLPASS filters. Set the ALIGN TO mode.
