Softube's "Valley People Dyna-mite," a limiter/expander plugin that faithfully reproduces the legendary Valley People Dyna-mite, a piece of equipment that has inspired engineers for decades, is now 70% off at an overwhelmingly low price of $29.

For some, it's a secret weapon; for others, a hidden treasure. The Valley People Dyna-mite is a versatile limiter/expander design, like a Swiss Army knife, possessing unique characteristics that have inspired engineers and generated innovative sonic ideas for decades.

Now more versatile and easier to use than ever, it includes two specialized plugins based on the same sound, packaged in a simple and modern way. Introducing Dyna-mite Slam and Dyna-mite Gate!

Paul Buff created custom equipment for Frank Zappa. No further explanation is needed. Its coolness is undeniable. By the time he patented the TA-101 VCA ("Electronic Gain Control"—the heart of Dyna-mite) in 1980, his reputation was already firmly established.

Dyna-mite is essentially a limiter or expander, but by cleverly combining switch positions, it allows for almost every aspect of dynamics manipulation, from gating and RMS compression to keying, ducking, and extreme level adjustments.

However, now, with two new plugins, Slam and Gate, finding these magical sound combinations is a breeze. Slam handles downstream processing like compression and limiting, while Dyna-mite handles it in the simplest possible one-knob format, while Gate handles upstream processing like gating and expanding. You can control subtle sound leakage, add punch to your snare, drastically compress rock vocals, or duck a synth bass to match your kick—all without even needing to read the manual.

While the original plugin (with a slightly updated look) is included for experts, Slam and Gate offer a more condensed and comprehensive experience of the Dyna-mite's capabilities.

All three plugins are provided under the same license and are priced as one.

Features
Three plugins in one – in addition to the original Dyna-mite, focused "Slam" and "Gate" plugins
Limitations: Peak and average limits (including). Negative ratio (-20:1) limit and detector HF filtering (for de-essing purposes).
Extensions: Hard or soft with extreme gate settings and detector HF filtering.
Ducking or keying modes with external side chains.
Release range of 0.05 to 5 seconds/20dB using Predictive Release Calculation (ARC) to reduce pumping.
Output distortion of analog models for serious attitude and atmosphere.
All detailed dynamic controls – and it's quick and easy.
