Overview
Oh baby! Most reverbs are trapped within drop-down menus. You pick a room, tweak a knob, and hit a wall of creative limitation. WorldVerb was built to shatter that wall.
Instead of a sterile list, you are presented with an open grid featuring 173 real-world spaces. By dragging a ring across the interface, you can select and blend up to four spaces simultaneously.
The magic lies not in tweaking standard parameters, but in how these spaces collide. You aren't just layering rooms; you are carving out frequencies, transforming reverb tails, scattering sonic granularity, or literally placing one room inside another. You aren't just choosing a reverb; you are designing a brand-new, impossible acoustic world on the fly.
Once you find your ideal sound, you can capture the waveform and drag-and-drop it directly from the plugin into your DAW as a WAV file. All source files are released under the CC0 license, meaning the worlds you create belong entirely to you.

Controls
Selection Grid & Merge Rack
173-Slot Grid
Skip the drop-down menus; simply drag the ring across the map to select up to four acoustic spaces at once. Right-click any IR to replace it.
Merge Rack
Drag and drop nodes to instantly swap their positions in the chain. Right-click to toggle spaces.
Node Scrolling
Scroll the mouse wheel over a room's node to independently adjust its mix level.
Move Anywhere
Move any IR (Impulse Response) to any position within the Merge Rack.
Self-Morphing Slot
Active when using only a single space. Toggle between Direct, Convolve (convolve with itself), and Twin (delayed copy of itself).
Blend Operators
Layer
Stack spaces in the traditional manner.
Series
One space feeds directly into the next, creating a room-within-a-room effect.
Carve
Subtracts spectrally overlapping frequencies to prevent interference between spaces.
Morph
Crossfades from one environment to another across the entire length of the tail.
Shimmer
Shifts the pitch of one sound up an octave before passing it into the other.
Scatter
Shatters one room into fragments and scatters them across the time axis of the other room. Split
Cleanly divides the frequency spectrum, assigning the low-frequency range to one space and the high-frequency range to the other.
Sculpt Knob
Size
Reduces the time required for manual tweaking.
Decay
Determines the duration of the reverb tail.
Damping
Controls high-frequency absorption.
ER/Tail
Balances the initial, immediate reflections against the subsequent wash of sound.
Pre-delay
Offsets the arrival time of the reverb.
Tone
Adjusts the output brightness from dark to bright.
Width
Narrows or widens the stereo image.
Output & Mix
Handles final output adjustments and the wet/dry mix balance.
Hardware & Output
Merged Limiter
Soft, Medium, and Hard settings automatically protect the master bus from unstable sonic combinations.
Draggable Waveform
