Audiority "Dr Drive" is a free overdrive effects emulation modeled after the HorizonDevices® PrecisionDrive.
Audiority "Dr Drive" is an overdrive effect plug-in modeled after the HorizonDevices®PrecisionDrive hardware effects pedal and emulated.
The latest analog-modeled overdrive plug-in, Dr Drive is an analog simulation of the latest overdrive inspired by the HorizonDevices®PrecisionDrive™. This overdrive fits a wide variety of applications for classic and modern metal guitar players.
The distortion is geared toward metal and hard rock, while the BRIGHT knob adds shimmer to a sound that tends to be blurred by distortion. This is quite a useful parameter, and the ATTACK knob is good for bringing guitar tracks to the front or to the back. In addition to the input inputs, there is a DryWet mix control, plus a noise gate function.
