Concert Grand is a premium 1100GB*, 9-mic piano sample library sampled from a Steinway D New York 9' concert grand piano, built for the full version of Kontakt 5.8 or later (not for Kontakt Player (not for Kontakt Player). *1100GB before lossless compression; product delivery sizes range from 77GB to 576GB.

This is why the concert grand 9-mic control is so important. Using a time-tested microphone arrangement by an audio engineer, you can dial in different tones.

Ambisonics channels provide full 3D sound of the piano and allow the user to rotate the sound direction 360 degrees from spherical to up, down, left, or right. The virtual microphone can be pointed at the piano, the room, or anywhere in between. Ambisonics channels were recorded using soundfield microphones. Ambisonics is the most flexible audio format, allowing anything from a single microphone to 5.1 surround sound. Ambisonics outputs can be mapped to a digital audio workstation, and external ambisonics can be processed with plug-ins such as Harpex and SurroundZone2.
