This instrument was created to showcase the delicate yet powerful spirit of the Celtic harp. It can be soft and gentle, bold and strong, or everything in between, the Libre Wave team has recorded a modern Celtic harp with a warm tone and built-in pickups. This allowed them to create a direct input recording in addition to the two stereo microphone positions. Because Michaela's Harp was recorded in the studio, the samples are fairly dry and can be blended and layered with other instruments.Michaela's Harp is built in HISE and does not require an additional player application, but can be used as an independent VSTi/AU plug-in that It runs as a stand-alone VSTi/AU plug-in without the need for an additional player application.
Michaela's Harp is a beautifully sampled Celtic harp virtual instrument with three microphone positions, multiple velocity layers, attenuated and stopped samples, and a playable triplet. We recorded a modern Celtic harp with warm tones and pickups built in. This allowed us to create a direct input recording in addition to the two stereo microphone positions.Michaela's Harp is built in HISE and runs as a stand-alone VSTi/AU plug-in without the need for an additional player application. The library was recorded in a studio, not a large hall, so the samples are not particularly wet and can be blended and layered with other instruments. The instrument contains the usual pulled samples recorded at four dynamic levels. This is the default articulation and has the typical warm resonant sound typical of Celtic harps. Another set of damped string samples was also recorded in case you want a little less resonance.
