The Comp module offers three compression styles to handle a variety of production tasks: Analogue smooths the signal and gives it the characteristics of respected compressor hardware. Transparent provides a clean, modern response that is perfect for catching peaks while maintaining the body of the sound, while Variable provides an input-dependent response that is ideal for smoothing vocals, gluing down bass, and mastering applications.

The Lifeline Console's EQ offers a classic parametric 4-band approach with three selectable modes. Gain mode provides clean circuitry for simple and accurate EQ jobs, while Vintage Circuit mode introduces additional harmonics to drive the signal during boost. Dirty Circuit mode introduces overall saturation and distortion to the EQing process.

The three wear modes-Tape, Vinyl, and Cassette-introduce three recognizable types of degradation to the audio. The Age control brings saturation and degradation that occurs over time with these formats.

The Lifeline Console has three controls for final polish to the sound, giving you another dose of analog goodness to your dialed-in effects. The Warm knob helps emphasize the low frequencies throughout the mix and glue the bottom end. The Shine knob delivers a high-end shine that is perfect as the final stage of gloss to give the track that extra edge.
