Thanks to HAT (Acoustic Sample's proprietary Harmonic Alignment Technology), this is the most realistic saxophone plug-in available. These 8 instruments use real samples as sound sources and are further enhanced with modeling to provide the highest level of authenticity and playability. Two soprano saxophones, two tenor saxophones, two alto saxophones, and two baritone saxophones Each instrument has an individual tone recorded by a different musician. Additionally, each pair of instruments was recorded in two different styles, both classical and jazz.
AcousticSample set out to create a great sounding, authentic sounding horn with a simple and powerful way to play it, and HAT technology allows us to do just that, accurately reproducing the evolution of each tone, from very soft to loud playing. VHorns is not just a common, player-loaded, heavily multisampled instrument: simply use the MIDI controller (or draw it as a score) and play the articulations yourself, just like a player! There are no complicated keyswitches. Air Flow Control, Authentic Vibrato, Legato Transitions, Multi Microphone Recording, Virtual Spaces, Mute, Advanced Editing, MIDI Controllers ( Keyboards, Breath or Wind Controllers), Ensemble, and more to control these eight instruments.

- Proprietary HAT (Harmonic Alignment Technology) goes one step further than conventional applications, completely overcoming the phase problems of conventional brass instruments.
- Simple operation, realistic performance - Wind instruments generate sound by sending air through their winds. Following this principle, V Horns is played using airflow control in addition to note input. Simply pressing the keyboard keys and manipulating the air volume reproduces actual wind instrument playing.
- Two instruments in one sound source - To create different sounds and natural variations when layered, two sound samples by two different players are provided in one sound source.
- Various parameters for naturalness - Although V Horns requires almost no manipulation, there are a number of parameters for advanced users who require more detailed expression. Many of them can be operated in real time, and various elements can be randomized to create a natural look.
- Wind controller compatibility - Pre-configured settings for the major wind controllers are provided. Select one, make a few adjustments, and you're ready to play.
- Free standing, virtual space - The depth that cannot be achieved with simple stereo recording is fully reproduced with a unique virtual space. Multi-microphone mixing, including the player's standing position in the brass section, can be perfected.
- Ensemble Support - With a brass ensemble, you don't have to worry about ensemble instruments; with V Horns, you can build your own brass section. Just add the number you need, set the standing positions, harmonies and scales, and root key, and you have the perfect ensemble performance.
